Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church is a small parish, but we endeavor to live our rich liturgical life in a way that reflects the Great Church in all her expectations for liturgical music. We follow the tenants of the Church with regards to our choices of music, especially as laid out for us in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal. While we are a poor parish, we have invested significantly on the side of liturgical music with sheet music and other musical resources (including a new organ installed in 2013). Still, this great work of praising God is done primarily by volunteers who are passionate about Catholic music and who are dedicated to enriching our liturgy through and by their talents. If you want to hear what authentic Catholic liturgical music is supposed to sound like, then our little parish is the place to be, and if you would be interested in volunteering for one of our choirs, or to add your talents to our weekly worship, we’d love to have your help.
